Mr. DeClercq is an experienced civil litigator and business advisor who resolves disputes through traditional and alternative fora, with emphases in complex commercial disputes and real property actions.
Representative engagements have included creative resolution of actions relating to mortgage lending practices, foreclosure, real estate valuation, contract interpretation and enforcement, construction disputes, claims of breach of fiduciary duty, consumer class actions, tort claims including CERCLA and state environmental torts, commercial lease disputes, and patent enforcement.
Mr. DeClercq's clients have included a broad range of entities, from entrepreneurs private individuals, to businesses large and small, and Fortune 500 companies, such as large banking and financial services companies, real estate investment trusts, and federal government agencies. He delivers his valued clients results by emphasizing practical and cost-effective solutions to challenging legal problems.

He is proud of his work in pro bono and public interest representation, including adoptions, unlawful detainer defense and disability rights advocacy.
Most important, Mr. DeClercq is pleased by, and proud of, his life's work as husband to his wife, Nicole Tetreault, and as father to their son, Spencer.
Tracy Wong received her J.D. from Southwestern Law School in 2012. Ms. Wong has broad experience in immigration law and litigation. As a law clerk at Southwestern’s Immigration Law Clinic, she worked on U-Visa and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) cases, helping victims of abuse and violence receive immigration relief.
In addition, she has helped numerous applicants file for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival (DACA) at the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angles (CHIRLA). As a frequent volunteer at the naturalization clinics held by the Asian Pacific American Legal Center (APALC), she has helped countless Green Card holders file for citizenship.
Recently, she helped a number of internationally recognized pop singers obtain non-immigrant visas for a charity concert. After graduating law school, Ms. Wong also worked as a law clerk at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office in the Organized Crime Division. Her litigation experience consists mostly in the areas of business and real estate. She is also currently an adjunct professor of Paralegal Studies at Mount San Antonio College.
Ms. Wong received her B.A. in Philosophy, magna cum laude, from California Polytechnic State University, Pomona. She is currently admitted to practice law in the State of California, and before the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
Neslly Herrera brings a passion for effective and efficient firm administration to DeClercq Law Group, Inc. Neslly’s commitment to a career in the justice system is driven by her deep desire to help those who have landed into misfortune and need to find empowerment within themselves.
Ms. Herrera first joined DeClercq Law Group in April 2016 as a legal assistant. She quickly demonstrated proficiency and aptitude, and ascended to the title of Paralegal. She has mastered all aspects of litigation support, from supporting pre-litigation and informal dispute resolution, through discovery and trial support. She is a key contact for clients and opposing counsel, managing a significant array of client contacts and assisting in supporting in-house legal departments. Ms. Herrera's strengths include significant responsibility in supporting internal legal investigations, drafting all key legal documents, and managing client files including major litigation case files.
Ms. Herrera holds several degrees. She earned an Associate in Arts Degree in Social & Behavioral Science and in Humanities, as well as two Bachelor of Arts Degrees: History, with an emphasis in Latin America & the United States; and Political Science, with an emphasis in Public Policy & Law from California State University, Long Beach. Taking each opportunity to engage with the legal field, she has also obtained a Legal Studies Certificate. She will continue to pursue her legal education as she is currently preparing to attend Law School in the near future. Neslly is a certified Notary Public for the State of California and is fluent in Spanish.
Ms. Herrera enjoys volunteering for nonprofit organizations, including free legal aid services, that assist displaced members in her community. As an aspiring lawyer, Ms. Herrera anticipates building a career dedicated to social justice, focusing on representing the immigrant community against removal proceedings and representing domestic violence survivors.
Ms. Herrera is a native of Pasadena, California. She enjoys snowboarding in the winter and camping in the summer.
